What do you regard as the biggest challenges for the Catholic Church in the 21st century?

Examples of challenges could be the recent scandals that have been in the paper it has been hard to keep peoples faith. Homosexuality, sex scandals/ pedophiles, birth control, premarital sex and celibacy whatever you choose to write about link it back to the fact that this is causing people to lose faith in the catholic system which in itself is a challenge.
