material in your own words. Critique thoughts and reactions in the books. What is your overall opinion of the book? Tell the reader what you think and how you arrive at this judgement. What did you expect to
learn when you picked up this book? We’re your expectations met? Explain your reaction. Identify the authors thesis or main argument and explain it in your own words. Is the thesis supported? Use examples.
What conclusion does the author reach and how clearly are they stated? How effectively does the book come together? Does the authors presentation seem fair and accurate? Is the interpretation biased? Can you
detect any distortion, exaggeration, or diminishing material? If so what purpose might this have been done, and what effect does it have on the over all presentation. Answer all questions but not in order. The
