I am a Japanese living in Hawaii. I didn’t think about Chinese when I was in Japan but now I feel Chinese culture influences my life in Hawaii. As there are many Chinese tourists in Hawaii, Chinese cultures are thought important. For example, When Lunar New Year, clothing malls have a sale.
I often go to Chinatown to buy vegetables such as onchoy spinach which I never saw in Japan. The vegetable, meat, and fish in Chinatown are very cheap and fresh.
