Address a current event or phenomenon that you find important and/or interesting and examine this event from a cognitive perspective. Examples include attitude polarization, impulsive spending cross-cultural miscommunication, etc. If you are working in a research lab, how would you examine what you’re studying from a cognitive perspective? The goal of this paper is to demonstrate that you can integrate the course material and the cognitive perspective into the examination of a real-world topic you care about.
