What was the intent and content of the 2016 Paris agreement on climate change and what are the possible consequences and causes of the 2017 US withdrawal from that agreement?
As in previous assignments, the paper should have 3 parts:
1. An introduction which defines the terms in the question clearly, including an explanation of the physics principles involved in the relevant technologies and the mechanisms by which the technologies work.
2. A middle section presenting facts affecting the possible impacts of the agreement , including costs, safety, intermittent of supply, energy distribution infrastructure, geopolitical power balances and climate change itself. Clearly explain the associated physical principles throughout. Be as quantitative as possible. 3. A concluding section in which the facts assembled in 2. are used to address the question in the title as defined in 1. In light of your findings, you should evaluate possible policy changes regarding energy technologies which maybe implemented in response to the agreement and the US withdrawal in major world economies. Include at least the US, China, the EU, Russia and oil producing countries in the middle east.
