Directions:
- Select a country that is NOT the United States, UK, France, Germany, Japan, China, India, Russia or
Brazil. Be sure to select a country for which it is feasible to collect the required information. - Utilize only the sources listed below to coitect (and cite) information about this country to describe and
expiain: 1) why the country is democratic or authoritarian; 2) the executive, legislative and judicial
branches; 3) the electoral system and the most recent election (if there are elections, if not explain more
about how political leaders are selected); 4) how the most recent election was run and whether there was
integrity in the process; 5) the political parties and their political positions or ideatogy; 6) the state of the
economy (size, growth, major industries); 7) current policy challenges for the government. Be sure to
include at least 10 concepts from our class and put them in BOLD. (For example proportional
tepresentation, multiparty system, conservative political ideology, economic inequality, coalition
government, civil law system, bicameral legislature, referendum, political participation, legitimacy) - Write a 4-5 page paper covering the above topics, using 12 point font, regular margins, headings for
