Job Description:
Schedule, supervise, train, and manage volunteers/student employees
Prepare and present reports to Assistant Dean of Students
Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with student information and sensitive situations
Schedule sufficient volunteers/student employees to manage the Center
Assist the Assistant Dean of Students in the day-to-day operation of the First Saluki (First Generation Center)
Provide a network of services and resources that focuses on academic, cultural, and social integration.
Work with Assistant Dean of Students to provide a one-stop resource center where students can meet other students, peer advisors, faculty and staff.
Work with Assistant Dean of Students to develop a peer-to-peer mentoring program.

Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
Experience in creating work teams or programs and managing volunteers/student employees
Able to adapt to a changing environment with competing priorities
Ability to communicate with first generation students
Previous experience working with sensitive topics
Experienced in the computer applications of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Prezi.
