Most people are glad when their statistics course ends. Unfortunately, as we get more into our graduate curriculum we are exposed to more detailed information about statistics and how they are used in psychology. This week is no different. Here we explore how statistics are relevant to assessment. One area of importance is validity. There are difficult types of validity that are highlighted in Chapter 6. Choose one type of validity and describe it. Include an example and explain its importance in test construction.
