How has evolution played a role in the development of genetic noninfectious diseases in humans?

The goal of this Literature Review is to examine what the current state of the research is and identify gaps in the current knowledge that could be further studied. There should be an emphasis on the evolution aspect as it is for a senior-level evolution class.

Attached is the memo I wrote for the Literature Review that should help with the direction I see the paper going. Additionally, there is also an example of a literature review that was done in the past that got a good grade in the class as well as the grading rubric.
