TB is a 16-year-old African American female who presented to the clinic with her mother for her yearly physical. Patient complained of abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, generalized body pain for the past 2 days. Stated that she has being having sharp abdominal pain all around her lower abdomen, radiating to the back which has been constant for 2 days. Pain level reported is graded six out of ten by the patient. She also reported nauseating, vomiting and decreased appetite for the two days. Patient stated that she is currently on her menstrual period and unaware of having any of the symptoms as a result of her menstrual period. She denies chest pain, shortness of breath, syncope, urinary changes, fever or chills.
