Start by watching the following videos from Malcolm Gladwell and Barry Schwartz. Then, answer the question below. The links below. You have been invited to give a TEDx talk, where you will share the stage with Malcolm Gladwell and Barry Schwartz. In preparation for your talk, write the text of your presentation of at least four complete paragraphs that expresses your own opinion to the question: “does more choice lead to more happiness?” Your talk must produce an appropriately complex, arguable claim (or thesis) that expresses an opinion. The body of your presentation must use both TED talks (Gladwell and Schwartz) as evidence in developing your argument, where you should disagree with one (or both!) of the other presenters. Answer the question provided, no points will be awarded to presentations written on other topics. You know good presentations have parts. So, your talk must also have all the proper parts, meaning: an introduction with predictors. You must have the proper number of body paragraphs, as predicted in the introduction. Finally, you must have a conclusion that does not bring up new material. In addition, your presentation must have a thesis statement – placed at either the beginning, middle or end of the presentation – wherever it would have the greatest impact in your speech.
