Select a theory that interests you! The theory or theorist doesn’t have to be mentioned in our textbooks for
the course. However, you will need to select a theory that can be related to reading and language arts in a
significant way. The theory essay should be between 500-1000 words and include the following
information:
APA format (no abstract needed- APA 6 or APA 7 is fine to use)
Introduction- Present the focus points of your essay and introduce the theory.
Body- Elaborate on the theory. Identify how the theory connects to concepts within reading and language
arts that have been discussed in the text so far.
Conclusion- Revisit the main points.
Include a Reference page in APA format
