There are plenty of medical (and legal) dramas out there (such as ER, Grey’s Anatomy, House, and so on) and many have clips on YouTube. Find an example of about 5 minutes or less in length which portrays one of the ethical or legal issues we have read about. Post a link to the video and a citation. Identify the ethical or legal issue in the video and summarize the situation from the patient’s perspective.
Based upon this week’s readings, how do you interpret the ethical and legal issues depicted in the clips? Do your personal ethical and legal perspectives differ from the positions depicted in the videos? If so describe the differences and why you differ. If you agree with the positions depicted, explain why you agree.
