This paper requires you to demonstrate your understanding of the text and your analytical skills via your image selection. | expect your paper to rely on direct textual evidence (Quotations!) to support your argument and make your claim for your image. Ask yourself what about the text you would like to represent, and what kind of image would most accurately do so. While your paper will be grounded in literary analysis (Quotations!) also think about readership and intended audience. Remember that the bulk of your paper will be about the novel itself, and what you would like to foreground about it for the cover design. Think of what a book cover/jacket must accomplish, as well as what you would like to convey about the novel itself.
