This activity is designed to sharpen the focus of your inquiry by requiring you to define more clearly your research question(s). For this activity you are required to submit an outline dissertation proposal (1000 words). This will involve you in: – writing a working title which gives a good indication which accurately reflects the proposed inquiry • writing a paragraph which clarifies the central issue, problem or question to be examined • stating explicitly the central issue, problem or question you are examining • writing a paragraph outlining the overall research/inquiry strategy and research design if appropriate
