In this essay we will examine the forms of food production and consumption within the US along with two other countries/areas that have fundamentally different practices.

Explain an aspect of US food system (What we produce, food waste, water use, chemical use/bans, subsidies, etc).
Next pick two other countries and examine their food systems as relates to what you examined in the US. Be sure to pick countries that are quite different than the US. Articulate each system as best you can, trying to perceive why the system is set up as such. What are some strengths? What are some weaknesses?
