Following watching Greta Thunberg’s TED Talk (The disarming case to act right on climate change) you are to respond to her talk. The point here is not simply to agree or to disagree but to find a position in relation to the original and to state why you hold that position. For example, you may agree with some parts of the original text but disagree with other parts. Therefore, your task is to state not only what you agree with but also why you agree with it. Moreover, the reasons you give for (dis)agreement should be logical and reasonable. In other words, “I agree because it’s true” is not a good argument.
