The annotated bibliography should include at least six citations and annotations. At least three sources must
be scholarly peer-reviewed sources; however, the remainder may be a mixture of
scholarly, trade, and/or popular sources. The selection of sources should display an awareness of the ongoing
conversation surrounding your chosen topic.
- Correctly implement a citation style fitting for your field of study (MLA, APA, IEEE, etc)
- Annotations should be at least 150 words long each
- Consistent use of academic tone and language
• Each annotation should address:
- the main argument/central claim of the source
- how the author supports that claim
- the rhetorical situation, particularly the source’s purpose and audience
- how the source contributes to your knowledge of the problem you wish to explore in your literature review.
