Handling of quoted, cited material

Write an explanatory synthesis on an approved topic relating to your major discipline. The cited details in your paper should come from at least four up-to-date, reliable sources from within your discipline which you have procured through the WKU library and/or its databases. Be sure you handle any quotations or paraphrases correctly and cite them according to MLA, APA, or Chicago format—whichever is appropriate for your discipline. You will need to turn in copies of your source material with your final draft. In addition to introducing these sources and/or their authors within the body of the paper, you must attach a separate works cited or reference page in the appropriate format as the final page. That page will receive a separate 50 point grade.
Length: at least 1200 words
Rough draft due: Thursday, March 21
Final paper due: Tuesday, March 26

You must turn in your peer reviewed rough draft along with the final paper and the rubric or there will be a deduction of 5 points each from the final grade.  Please staple the rubric, the final paper, then the rough draft, then your sources.  Highlight those areas you used from the sources.
