Q1: What elements of your community’s risk assessment process would you choose to display on maps? Why? What are some of the sources you would use to create your maps?
Q2: What role does the risk assessment play in creating the city’s mitigation strategies? Identify the natural hazards that affect your community (Orlando); determine if any are chronic hazards. What is the most concerning in your neighborhood/house? Are there any particular group that could be particularly affected by that hazard?
Q3: What can past events tell us about the frequency and magnitude of natural hazards in one place? Searching online, try to learn a little bit about the history of Orlando regarding hazards/disasters and assess the probability (hint: you can use table 10.2 as a guide) and potential magnitude/intensity (hint: you can talk about the category of the hurricane, the magnitude of the earthquake etc.) of the following hazards: tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, excessive rainfall, and extreme cold/snowstorm.
he highest office in the United States of America has been occupied by the whites for a long time that a little break to Obama presidency could not be stood by Donald Trump. Being black, the political career of Obama and his success was under scrutiny especially from the white supremacy lords such as Donald Trump who even questioned his intelligence. Ironically, Trump seems to have picked a battle with everyone except the whites by making his bloody heirloom explicit. However, Trump’s criticism came to haunt him as he is accused of many things. The Trump ideology shields and bears the previous and current white supremacists, therefore, he is not alone. Moreover, Trump’s journey to power is interesting because he has a unique record in various ways such as being an insulter, being accused of sexual assault and fraudulent business dealings. However, because he is white, he has the power to receive more support even in his ways of demining the blacks. Trump is the first unique white American president because of his commitment to whiteness. His candidacy and rise to power was an attempt to demine and eradicate the fact that America had their first black president in Obama. However, the black and likeminded people have also contributed to Trump’s incidental rise by focusing too much on his bigotry and that of his supporters. The rise of Trump has also been fueled by economic reversal and cultural resentment which have become a de rigueur among white pundits. However, the issues that led to Trump’s rise remain debatable ranging from election policies, party selection and analysis of voters. Trump’s power is fueled by the whiteness agenda. Other factions believe that the despite the forward strides in American politics such as, the role of Martin Luther King Jr. and having a black president, agreeing that Trump is potent is to deny the steps made forward. The idea of acceptance of the issues of racism in the current politics of the US frustrates the leftists who would rather have other discussions. Interestingly, while the blacks suffer lifelong bondage, the whites who had been united by slavery also suffer the temporary bondage of indenture. History reminds Americans that slavery was such a divisive issue that determined the whiteness today. Slavery gave birth to racism which was even acknowledged by Hillary Clinton even more than her Democratic predecessors. However, her stand looked ridiculous considering her husband’s past administration which baited white voters at the expense of the blacks’ interests. As much as it is easy to excuse Hillary for her husband’s sins, her turnaround at the 2008 campaign and stating to support white Americans worked against her. The white supremacy can be felt across the b>GET ANSWER
