The basics of building healthy meals are dependent on nutrient-rich choices of whole foods with limited SOFAS (solid fats and added sugars). The gold standard of nutrition is selecting whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Lean proteins and low-fat dairy products are the recommended choices. You are the newly appointed Mt. SAC Deputy Director of Student Health and have just received CDC grant-funding to provide street-cart style service areas on campus. The aim of the grant is to promote Healthy Campuses. This movement is similar to the CDC Healthy Corner Stores (watch video below).

You are going to start your cart service with grab and go breakfast. If this is successful and well received by the faculty, staff, and students, you will expand the service to include lunch. The grant requires you to serve only nutrient-dense food options which follow the Choose My Plate principles. The grantors require that you brand your program with a catchy name that promotes healthy consumption. All of this will be designed to support a national movement called Healthy Campuses. When you provide data demonstrating student acceptance of your healthy cart, you will be given additional funding for multiple carts. You are naturally very excited to take on this healthy challenge.
Provide these two requirements.
1.In a word document and in no more than FIVE sentences state the name of your cart service and what you would offer on your grab and go breakfast cart based on the grant-funding outlined above.
2.Embed a picture, picture quote, or a picture you are inspired to share based on your statement. Provide a caption to your picture to explain your selection.
