History is not all about dates and places. It is also about arguments, interpretations, and issues. For this assignment you will research and write a paper by investigating the presentation of the same historical person, event, problem, or interpretation by three different authors (including your textbook author). How has the same issue been seen differently in different texts? You are looking at what the three different authors say about the same person or topic, I am looking at your comparison. Do they say the same thing or can you find differences? The purpose of this assignment is for the student to be able to see differences in historical texts between authors.
