GENERAL REMARKS ON ARTICLE 2
The overall focus of all your articles have to be in line with the main focus of your research of theological reflection on sexual abuse of children in the Roman Catholic Church in Nigeria.
In this article I don’t see anything about the Roman Catholic Church in Nigeria??? The article must refer to principles and practice of childrens ministry of the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IN NIGERIA. Then the recommendations will have more value. You may then also point out what are strengths and what are possible weaknesses in the children’s ministry of the RC Church IN NIGERIA.
The article has very limited theological reflection on children’s ministry. Consider to take some of the passages I have pointed out in my comment on the article and do some in depth literature study on such passages and then summarize some general theological principles derived from such passages.
Then the article will gain academic weight if you refer and provide brief quotes from official RC documents
Try to paint a general picture of what is happening or not happening in the RC Church in Nigeria.
The article will also gain theological and academic weight and relevance if you can write a paragraph or two on the needs of children in general in Nigeria and point out how the Roman Catholic church handles it? For example:

  1. How many orphans are there in Nigeria? (South African statistics are that there are 2 million HIV AIDS orphans in SA and many of them now grow up in child headed households. Many RC dioceses in South Africa are reaching out to these kids.) What are the position of orphans in Nigeria in general and what are RC churches doing in Nigeria to reach out to them? Can you provide some statistics on these kinds of challenges for RC churches in Nigeria?
  2. Are you aware of the seemingly widespread abuse of children who are accused of being witches?

Just a little google search on this issue will provide masses of material about the prevalence of this issue in Nigeria and will oblige Christian churches who are serious with childrens ministry to address it. How does the RC church in Nigeria handle these issues?
How does the RC church deal with witchcraft in general in its children’s ministry? If it is not there, this article can point it out as a void that needs to be addressed?
