Through an analysis of four of their own forms of identity and positionality, students will identify how their own understanding of oppression and privilege came about related to each of the 4 identities they chose, including:

  1. One’s own identity factors including their experience of power, being oppressed, and of being an oppressor related to each identity, and what has held it in place up until now;
  2. How his/her view of oppression is changing or remaining static related to our course of study, each identity they choose, and why.
