Provided a sample 504 plan and IEP, candidates will develop a lesson that incorporates the appropriate
instructional and assessment accommodations as specified in the 504/IEP. Candidates will then write a 2 page
reflection that identifies the assessment tools and appropriate accommodations incorporated, including how
instruction can be modified to meet the needs of other learners with varying reading deficiencies.
For this assignment you will be developing and modifying a lesson to accommodate a student IEP. Your lesson
may be for reading 7th grade level but must include appropriate instructional and assessment accommodations
for the student IEP.
