O (Outcome): Increase CNA’s knowledge about perineal care and Foley catheter care to prevent Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections

Does the implementation of an educational meeting about perineal and Foley catheter care among Certified Nursing Assistants at Palmetto Care Center, increase the knowledge to prevent Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections?
Objectives:

1. To determine if the implementation of an educational meeting about perineal and Foley catheter care among Certified Nursing Assistants at Palmetto Care Center, increase the knowledge to prevent Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections.
2. To identify CNA’s knowledge on perineal/Foley Care before the educational meeting.
3. As a long term goal, to implement the educational meeting for all new hired Certified Nursing Assistants at Palmetto Care Center.
