Majority rule

In a small community in the south, a high school football coach wants to lead his players in a Christian prayer prior to all
games. Well over 90% of the community is Protestant Christian. It is estimated that only two or three of the athletes are
non-Christian. The local newspaper conducted a poll and found that 96.5% of the community support the prayers prior to the
games. The parents of one non-Christian student have sued the school district to stop the prayers…The school superintendent
