FIRST, choose any phrase or word that stands out to you in the scriptural Text 1 The Dhammapada, Chapter 1: Twins (Valkenberg Chapter 19; page 278-79) and offer a short 2-3 sentence reflection on it. Be sure to include the phrase, quote or word in your reflection.
SECONDLY, examine both the Insider and Outsider commentary on pages 279-283 and point out which information/interpretation presented about the scripture you think is the most compelling and explain why. Make sure to provide specifics from the commentary to show what you find the most compelling.
