Question 1. Select a specific change initiative that has already taken place in an organization with which you are personally familiar. Write an evaluation report on that change initiative that includes all of the following:

a. Introduction: (10%)
Briefly summarize: The organization and the change.
Part A should outline some brief details concerning the organization you are analyzing and identify the change that took place. For Q1 you can relate the change to any one (or more) of the 5 change initiatives we have analyzed in class. However, the change also need not include any of the 5 change initiatives – if it is related to some other aspect specific to the organization for which you worked.

Your source(s) of evidence should include a) your own experience working in the organization; b) any key documentary sources concerning the change you are analyzing. You should list all documentary sources in the list of references at the end of the report and also cite them in the report when necessary. If you have carried out any primary data/evidence collection (such as interviews with people from the organisation) you can include information about this in an appendix.

b. Change Overview: (30%)
Stakeholder analysis: who was involved in the change? As a minimum, list all stakeholders and their role (s) in the change according to a recognized stakeholder model. You should also make use of your stakeholder analysis in the other sections of the report, so the actions, and influences of stakeholders should form a thread running through the other sections of your report (i.e., don’t do your stakeholder analysis and then forget about it). This would also apply to other aspects of your change overview.
