Directions: As it pertains to Quality of Life (QOL) the article “States worse than death among hospitalized patients with serious illnesses” by Rubin, et al (2016) provides some sobering data on what patients think would be worse than death. After reading the article, answer the following:

  1. Assuming the worst quality of life would be being dead, how would you approach helping patients in the inpatient setting?
