Compare and contrasts the variety of perspectives or philosophies encountered regarding the human condition
View the film Splice, (2009), and read Kurt Vonnegut’s Galapagos (1985). Splice (2009) is stream-able from a variety of sources online, and Vonnegut’s text is available from the UCF and Orlando libraries, as well as a variety of online vendors, etc.
Drawing upon Harari, Gray, Vonnegut, your research article and the film Splice (2009), write an essay that compares and contrasts the variety of perspectives or philosophies encountered regarding the human condition, with your own philosophy regarding the human condition. Students are free to utilize whichever examples they like, but must use at least two examples from each assigned source (i.e. two from Harari, Gray, Vonnegut, the research article, the film etc.). Be careful not to make the mistake of attempting to substitute Harari and Gray material we’ve already covered for the assignment indicated here. Use Harari and Gray examples from 10/29-11/26 in the syllabus reading schedule. The essay must be at least 1000 words long, utilize an appropriate format, etc.,
