This First Assignment is just an Identification of a Problem. You will explain the Problem and the context of the problem in as much detail as possible. Define a problem at your office that you could eventually make recommendations to solve.
Think of something you want to fix that you work with every day. Make sure that the problem is one that you can quantitatively evaluate. Make sure that the problem is defined at the appropriate level, not too broad or overly specific not too detailed or overly strategic in nature.
