Write 2000 words for first part of my dissertation and they ask for page outline of your proposed research. The proposal should include: a clear statement of your research questions and the objectives of your research; a brief description of the methods to be employed – what data will you collect and how; a brief summary of the available literature, this could be a short list of the most important published works on the subject; and some consideration of any potential ethical issues involved in your research.
Your outline proposal will not be assessed and you will some feedback with regard to the feasibility of your proposed topic. It will be used to allocate individual supervisors for your Independent Study, who will also be able to advise you in the preparation of your full research proposal.
