Each submission is to consist of two paragraphs – one focusing on a course reading, and the other on a class discussion. The reading and the discussion do not have to be on the same topic. The reflection cannot be about cases that are distributed and discussed in class, for example Child’s Play.
The paper is to be your personal reaction to a specific course reading (or part of one) and a class discussion. Your reaction can be positive or negative; something you thought was interesting or something that you thought was trite; or something you hadn’t thought about before. You must clearly explain what course material you are reacting to, why you are reacting in this way and the insights/ new understanding you gained. Additionally, indicate how you could potentially use the insight gained, for example, in your professional life.
