In your reaction paper, monitor local television news in your area for two- weeks and document:
1. The number of crimes stories presented, by category(violent vs. property);
2. If identifiable, the race/ ethnicity and gender of the offender; and
3. If identifiable, the race/ ethnicity and gender(s) of the victim(s).
4. Brainstorm possible reforms for the criminal justice systems.
