Resolving dilemmas is not as simple as the “do the right thing” school of ethics would have you believe, they declare that we must all deal with “blind spots” in ethics. When confronted with an ethical dilemma, most of us like to think we would stand up for our principles and values. But maybe we are not as ethical as we think we are.
Discuss whether it’s even possible, and if so how, to be a successful leader and a thoughtful, responsible human being Also discuss how our “blind spots” (the removal of ethics from the decision-making process) lead to ethical failures and scandals, how we can become more aware of these ethical sinkholes, and what (if anything) we can do to overcome them.
