Designing a Strength Training Template in Microsoft Excel
For this assignment, you will create a 3-Day / 4 Week Strength Training workout template using Microsoft
Excel. You will also convert the file to a PDF.
Please refer to the class recording YouTube video posted in the Blackboard announcements.
Requirements/Instructions
1) The template should include a space for the client’s name, age and sport
2) The template should include a warm up routine that the client will perform prior to each workout. You may
choose 1 routine, or different routines for different days.
3) The template should include some speed/power training. This can be a separate routine, or you can include
a speed/power exercise on one, two or all of the days of the week.
4) Each day should contain 3-5 exercises and contain space to record the set, reps, and weight. You may
choose to fill in some of these (as I have done in the example video).
5) Again, there should be 3 different workouts/days on 1 sheet, and space to record each workout for 4 weeks
(like the example video)
6) For your assignment, you are required to submit your Microsoft Excel file AND a PDF of the template you
created. Follow my directions in the video on how to make sure your sheet is formatted to print onto one page
and how to save your spreadsheet as a PDF.
