nations with four methods of resolving maritime disputes. Two of these were (a) submission of the dispute to the a
International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) and (b) the adjudication of the dispute by the International Court of
Justice, (ICJ). Write an essay covering all aspects of the following:

  1. In respect of ITLOS (a) describe in detail what ITLOS is, how and why it was formed, its members and functions,
    provide a descriptive outline of the various stages and procedures by which ITLOS resolves international maritime
