From the book “The Sun Also Rises” all of the characters are caught in the middle. choose one character from the novel and discuss two moments when the person gets caught in the middle. this can be something where he/she is dragged into someone else’s chaos/ stress/intensity/ etc. some things to answer:
1) What leads your choice to become caught in the middle of this situation? Does he/she see it coming? Why or why not?
2) What characters get pulled by and/or drag your choice into this situation? How does it affect the other person? Be specific!
3) Does your choice get out of these situations voluntarily? Why or why not?
