Students will advocate a position on a controversial criminal justice related topic and describe its relevance to social work. Some suggested topics might include (but are not limited to):

Clear analytical thinking in support of your position, evidence of an adequate literature review, and acknowledgement of and sensitivity to alternate viewpoints are more important than the position taken.
