You are required to visit the Met Museum. Explore the museum…wander…then re-visit the Modern Art Wing, and the wings that apply to this class (prehistoric to late medieval). Students will assume the identity of a Museum Curator and propose a new and fictional art exhibition that includes five artworks from the 20th century and five from the period prior to 1400CE. All artworks must currently be on display at the Met Museum. What connections can you make between the artworks of these very different time periods? Why and how can these artworks fit together thematically? The paper need to come up with a thesis in the introduction paragraph. In body paragraph, you need to have three points to expand on the thesis. For each point, you need to have a topic sentence.
