What is the author’s background and/or expertise? Education? Experience? What is the mission and vision of the organization and/or its underlying values? What is the purpose of the article? What biases do you think the author/publisher may have? Be specific and use examples from the source; if you are vague you will not receive credit. Stating the source is not biased is not sufficient.
Skepticism: What aspects of the issue/topic did the writers neglect, misunderstand, misrepresent
