As a store manager I am tasked with many managerial task and the job of pushing the companies vision forward. Because of this I align more with the
thermometer leader- they are supposed to operate a business efficiently while pushing the vision of the organization. As the thermometer in my job I may not
have the ability to completely change the climate, but I do have an impact on how that climate is executed. If I am not onboard for the climate the
organization is implementing it will not succeed. As the person on the ground working with the operations of the business every day I am also able to
communicate problems back to my organization (Clodi, 2012). They can use these when creating innovative ideas that hold value to those in the
organization. Innovative ideas are best implemented when they provide value to regular employees. By communicating problems in operations back to those
who decide on innovative ideas I am strengthening their brainstorming process. Corporate entrepreneurship lacks in the service sector (Popowska, 2020). By
brining constant feedback to leadership it helps stimulate a culture of corporate entrepreneurship.
Thank you. Have a great day.
