The final report (maximum 3,000 words) should cover the followings: · Facility definition · Summary of Process, flow & space requirements · Material handling system · Warehouse operations · Alternative layout developments o Using CRAFT, Micro-CRAFT, ALDEP or Factory Plan/OPT o Assembly line balancing (if applicable). o Evaluate alternative layouts (Distance vs. adjacency based scores for discrete layouts) · Recommendations based on a full-flagged comparison of alternatives o Layout alternatives in CAD drawings (with aisles) o Pros & cons of recommendations Note: The layouts and all the drawings included in the project must be drawn in AutoCAD® or Factory CAD.
