Watch your favorite movie. Using what you have learned so far in chapters 1 and 2, as well as from the various videos on communication, observe the various ethical dilemmas related to communication that the characters in the film confront. Note their response to each dilemma.

What consequences, if any, are portrayed? What conclusions can you draw about the portrayal of communication ethics from this film? What are the ethical responsibilities of speakers and listeners? Using these questions as a guide, write a five-paragraph essay exploring an ethical dilemma from the film. Apply two contemporary approaches (interpretive or critical perspectives) to conducting communication research. Be sure to use APA format, cite course material, and include a works cited page. You should use concepts and terms from the course materials in developing an essay addressing these questions.
