View many works of art in person, and will choose two works of art in the same medium (ex. 2 drawings, 2 paintings, 2 photographs, 2 sculptures, etc) but from different art periods. Your final essay will describe, analyze, compare, contrast, and interpret these two artworks.
The artworks may be from different cultures or historical periods, but there needs to be some connection in terms of subject and medium. For instance, don’t try to compare a sculpture to a painting.
