Papers in this course are meant for you to integrate, critically evaluate, and apply your thinking about particular topics relevant to psychological literacy. The paper should be short (about three pages), excluding references.
Paper 2 Topic:
Based on your background in the discipline and review and critique of the readings, defend an account of psychology as a scientific discipline. Explain how much you can defend the discipline as based on reliable evidence that can result in a progressively better understanding of psychological phenomena. Share your experiences doing or reading research as part of your defense of the discipline if it is applicable. Make the best argument you can, but then identify ways in which you have remaining doubts or skepticism about the scientific nature of the discipline.
