1.Design a program for an early childhood setting which caters for the entire day of an education and care setting, including provision of the indoors, outdoors, group learning opportunities and curriculum learning areas. The assessment layout will include: Section 1: an explanation of your understanding of the EYLF planning cycle, description of the theoretical underpinnings and curriculum approaches that are influencing your approach to the program design. Section 2: Select an age group (0-3 years or 3-5 years) and develop a routine for the room a day (7:00am-6:00pm) and a detailed plan (drawing) that is reflective of the indoor and outdoor learning environment of the selected age group. Section 3: a detailed program plan format demonstrating the Early Years Learning Framework Planning Cycle stages and the inclusion of the elements required to be documented as part of the planning process.
