Electrophoretic patterns are a requirement of the ICH Q6B guidelines for characterization and analysis of biopharmaceuticals. This review will explore the theory and applications of electrophoretic methods for the analysis of biologic medicines. The review is to include two different formats (slab gels, capillary electrophoresis) and at least two different separation modes (denaturing electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, native, two-dimensional electrophoresis, etc).
