Your goal for the assignment is to create 3 days’ worth of lessons for an EFL class that meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for 60 minutes per class. It will be up to you to decide what level the students are and how many students are in each class. Try to address multiple skill areas (reading, listening, speaking, writing, grammar, and vocabulary).
Be sure to use the Blank Lesson Plan Format.
Remember you must attach all materials (worksheets, visual aids, etc).
Guidelines: -Choose one main theme that your entire week’s’ worth of lessons will be focused around. -Include a brief overview of what the previous and next week’s lesson was/would have been. -Include what your goals are for the students to achieve by the end of the week. -Include any expected problems. -Indicate what level the students are. -Indicate the number of students in your class. -Include all materials and visual aids you will use. -Include complete lesson plans for each day. In each lesson plan, be sure to: -Indicate the language focus and aims of the lesson. -Show that you have a clear idea of how the language point you are teaching is used. -Clearly indicate rough timing of the lessons. Remember, each class period is one hour. -Show clearly different stages of the lessons and indicate the role of the teacher at each of these stages. -Include different types of grouping and activities in your lesson. -Include a description of any homework you will assign to the students.
